How do I pay for a purchase?

Empire Online Shopping offers you multiple payment methods as mentioned below:

For TANZANIA

  • Card payment: We accept 6 major debit/credit cards - Visa, Visa Debit, Visa ElectronMaster Card, Amex and Maestro
  • Phone payment: M-pesa, Tigo Pesa, Airtel Money (*details mentioned further in this page)
  • Bank transfer: You can send a transfer to our Habib Bank account (**details mentioned further in this page)
  • Selcom: You can pay using our Selcom Pay number - 60485828 (***details mentioned further in this page)
  • Cash on delivery: We accept cash on delivery in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Arusha, Mbeya, Bukoba, Musoma, Tabora and Zanzibar (****see our terms and conditions mentioned further in this page)

For AFRICA

  • Card payment: We accept 6 major debit/credit cards - Visa, Visa Debit, Visa ElectronMaster Card, Amex and Maestro

This option is available for any customer in Tanzania only. You can send a phone transfer using our PESAPAL payment portal which will guide you in the procedure during checkout.

This option is available for any customer in Tanzania or other countries. You can send a bank transfer to our below mentioned account, once you have made the payment, we will require you to send us the Transfer copy via email on help@empire.co.tz or WhatsApp us on +255-754-265747.

****Cash on delivery (C.O.D)

We offer C.O.D in Dar es Salaam, Dodoma, Arusha, Mbeya, Bukoba, Musoma, Tabora and Zanzibar only. We have limitations to the order value eligible for C.O.D. as mentioned below

  • C.O.D is applicable for orders below Tshs 500,000/-. If your order value is above that amount, you shall have to pre-pay your payment before we can process dispatch. In some cases we may allow higher amounts on orders (please contact us for that)
