In-Store Pickup

In-store pickup allows you to browse and purchase online first, then collect your order at our Empire Online Shopping location at your convenience.

In-store pickup availability

  • Order pickup timing for SAME DAY PICKUP eligibility: Each product page shows the pickup date availability. Products that mention same day pickup option are usually ready for pickup in 2 to 4 working hours. Once you receive the confirmation from us via email or on your account login page, you may come to pickup the order with the confirmation number
  • Order pickup for items that mention future dates for pickup: Each product page shows the pickup date availability. Products that mention future dates for pickup option are usually ready for pickup on of slightly before the pickup date. Please check pickup dates for products on the respective product page so you are aware.  Once you receive the confirmation from us via email or on your account login page, you may come to pickup the order with the confirmation number
  • Pickup only available for online orders: We shall only entertain in-store pickup for orders that are placed online and prepaid
  • Offline order pickup option: In case you wish to visit us and manually place an order, you may pay for the order first and wait for the order to be compiled (usually takes 2 to 4 working hours). In case the working hours are short during your visit (i.e after 3.00pm), we may tell you to come next day morning to pickup your order

In-store pickup payments

  • Online orders: For in-store pickup option for your order, will be prompted to prepay during checkout
  • Offline orders (Self visit): In case you come visit our store and wish to place the order manually, you will have to pay for the order first before we can process your order

In-store pickup timings

  • Our working hours: Monday to Friday are 9.00am to 5.00pm, Saturday 9.00am to 12.30pm, Sundays and public holidays our store remains closed
  • Ordering after 4.00pm Monday to Friday: If you place an in-store pickup order on or after 4.00pm, your order may be available for pickup next working day
  • Ordering after 11.00am Saturday: If you place an in-store pickup order on or after 11.00am on a Saturday, your order may be available for pickup on Monday as Sundays we remain closed

  • Location: Empire Greeting Cards Limited, Mezzanine floor, Elite Tower, Azikiwe street, Posta Mpya, Dar es Salaam
  • For Bolt users: Just enter EMPIRE ONLINE SHOPPING on yoru Bolt app and you will see our location
  • Landmark: Our building is situated between the famous Askari Monument roundabout and Azikiwe Post office, opposite the TOTAL Energies Azikiwe petrol station
